Draft. This page will be finalized and dated before the site launches.
Multiplayer Atlas uses very little browser storage, and none of it is for advertising or cross-site tracking. That’s why there’s no cookie banner: everything below is strictly necessary for the site to work or remembers a choice you made.
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
sid | Cookie (first-party, HttpOnly, Secure) | Keeps you signed in and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Only set when you sign in or submit a form. | Until you close the browser; signed-in sessions expire after 14 days of inactivity |
theme | Browser local storage | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. | Until you clear it |
Things that are not cookies
To count visitors and stop vote fraud we use a one-way hash of your network address and browser type, stored on our server. It isn’t stored on your device and can’t be used to follow you to other sites.
Third parties
If a bot check is enabled on vote or giveaway forms, the provider may set its own strictly necessary cookie when you use those forms. Links to games take you to sites with their own cookie policies.
