Avabel Online

Asobimo's 3D action MMORPG for phones and PC, built around climbing a tower floor by floor with jumps, combos and 100-player PvP.

Overview

Avabel Online is a 3D action MMORPG from Asobimo, first released on Japanese app stores in 2012. Players climb a large tower floor by floor, clearing monsters and bosses along the way. Combat is real time and more action-focused than the studio's earlier games, with jumping and skill combos.

The game has a wide set of classes, such as summoners and the Revenger, a melee class that grows stronger at low health. Guilds have their own skills and message boards, and the PvP side includes several modes, including battles with up to 100 players at once. Updates and limited-time shop items are posted every few weeks.

The mobile apps include English text, while the main official site and the Steam version are run in Japanese. The game is free to play with an item shop that includes randomized draws. Asobimo also runs a simplified spin-off, Avabel Classic.
