Overview

Flyff Universe is a modern take on Flyff (Fly for Fun), a fantasy MMORPG known for letting players fly on boards and broomsticks once they reach a certain level. The new version runs in a web browser, so the same account can be played on a desktop, a laptop or a phone.

Players start as a Vagrant and choose a job such as Mercenary, Assistant, Acrobat or Magician, later moving to second and third jobs. Leveling comes from field monster hunting, quests and dungeons, and the game supports parties, guilds, guild sieges and player trading.

It is free to play, with optional item purchases. The original Flyff dates from 2004 in Korea. Gala Lab released Flyff Universe in 2022 as its spiritual successor, keeping the job system and flying while modernizing the interface. Servers and seasonal events are still being added.
