Overview

Galaxy Life is a space strategy game about building a colony on a home planet, upgrading defenses and producing troops. Players attack other players' bases and NPC enemies, and the battles mix real-time strategy with tower-defense ideas.

As players grow they colonize more planets, join alliances and take part in alliance wars. The cartoon art and approachable rules make it easy to start, while alliance play gives long-term goals.

The game was originally made by Digital Chocolate and was later brought back by Phoenix Network, which released it on Steam in August 2022 after a short early access period. It is free to play with in-app purchases, and players sign in with a Phoenix Network account. The developers publish a roadmap and run a Discord server where players follow updates and report issues.
