Overview

Villagers & Heroes is a fantasy MMORPG from the independent studio Mad Otter Games. It uses a bright, storybook style and a relaxed pace, and it puts as much weight on village life as on combat.

Characters level their adventuring class through quests and dungeons, but also level professions such as farming, cooking, tailoring, blacksmithing and woodworking. Every player gets a household with a garden and animal pens, and players can join villages with others to work on shared projects and buildings. Crafted goods are a major part of the economy, and players often specialize to supply each other.

Group content includes dungeons and bosses, and seasonal events run throughout the year. The game is free to play, with an optional membership and a store for convenience and cosmetic items.
