Overview

Dofus Retro brings back Dofus as it played around version 1.29, before the game's 2.0 overhaul. Ankama opened it in September 2019 for the game's fifteenth anniversary and has since added updates for stability, menus and higher-resolution display settings while keeping the older content and art style.

Play follows the familiar Dofus pattern: turn-based tactical fights on a grid, twelve classes, professions for gathering and crafting, and quests across the World of Twelve, with a level cap of 200. Characters cannot move between Dofus and Dofus Retro. Alongside the standard servers there is a single-account server, where each player may run only one character at a time instead of a team of accounts.

Dofus Retro is installed through the Ankama Launcher and requires an active subscription.
