Overview

Lost Ark is a fantasy MMORPG from the South Korean studio Smilegate RPG, launched in Korea in 2019 and in North America, South America and Europe in February 2022 with Amazon Games as publisher. It is played on Windows.

Its top-down combat plays much like an action RPG, with each advanced class built around a distinct set of skills and combos. After a story campaign across several continents, the endgame centers on improving gear and fighting in Chaos Dungeons, Guardian Raids and multi-phase Legion and Abyssal raids that require coordinated groups. Players also sail between islands, collect hidden items and level life skills such as fishing and mining.

PvP arenas are available for those who want them, and a personal island stronghold serves as a home base. Lost Ark is free to play, with an in-game shop for cosmetics, convenience items and progression materials.
