Overview

Margonem is a top-down 2D fantasy MMORPG made by Garmory, a studio in Katowice, Poland. It runs in a web browser with no install, and it also has an iOS app. The setting is a realm rebuilding after a long War of Mages, with towns, wild lands and dungeons to explore.

New players pick one of six professions: warrior, hunter, mage, paladin, tracker or blade dancer. Base stats are mostly assigned automatically on level up, so build choices center on skills and gear. Combat is turn-based, and the world is filled with quests, monsters and bosses. Players sell loot to NPC merchants, trade with each other directly or through auctions, and join guilds.

The English site runs several worlds and posts frequent seasonal events and limited content such as the Abyss seasons. PvP duels follow their own rules. The game is free to play, with an optional premium currency called Draconite that buys extra services.
