Overview

Rappelz is a fantasy MMORPG with three races, each with its own classes and advanced jobs. Its main draw is the pet system: players can tame many types of monsters, raise them and bring them into battle as active combat partners.

Leveling mixes field hunting, quests and dungeons, and the game adds new content in large updates it calls Epics. Players can join guilds, fight in PvP areas and trade items with each other.

The English and European service is run by Play2Bit, a Gala Lab subsidiary, after Webzen ended its publishing in 2020. It is free to play with an item shop. A separate Russian-language version is sold on Steam by GameXP. The game first launched in Korea in the mid-2000s and has been expanded many times since.
