Relics of Avabur

A text-based fantasy browser RPG built around automatic battling and harvesting, with clans, crafting and a busy chat community.

Overview

Relics of Avabur is a text-based fantasy game played in the browser and operated by gamefiar, LLC. The story starts in the Glendell Glade, where monsters began appearing about ten years before the game opens, and your job is to fight them back.

Much of the play is automatic: the game itself runs repeated battles and gathering actions while you have stamina, and players are told not to use outside scripts to extend that. Over time you train combat skills, harvest materials, and find, buy or craft better equipment. The numbers grow very large, and the site counts billions of monsters slain and harvests completed across its player base.

Clans let players pool their effort for shared benefits, and chat is a central part of the experience, with custom channels and volunteer staff. Guests can try the game before registering. It is free to start, and the terms of service describe optional purchases.
