Overview

Space Merchant Realms is a browser game set in a galaxy where a central federation has weakened and eight races compete for control. Each player captains a ship and can earn credits by trading goods between ports, take up piracy, or join an alliance fleet that fights for planets and territory.

Movement and actions cost turns, which regenerate over time, so the game rewards planning trade routes and choosing when to strike. Alliances coordinate fleets, claim planets with defenses and fight wars, and a news feed records kills across the map, including against NPC alliances.
