Temtem

Creature-collection MMO from Crema with double battles, co-op adventuring and a shared world across six floating islands.

Overview

Temtem is a creature-collection MMO from the Spanish studio Crema, funded partly on Kickstarter in 2018. It entered Steam Early Access in January 2020 and fully launched on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X/S in September 2022.

Players are new tamers exploring the Airborne Archipelago, six floating islands, while catching creatures and stopping a villainous group called Clan Belsoto. Every fight is a two-on-two battle with a stamina system that rewards planning. The story can be played with a friend in co-op, and the islands are shared with other players.

After the story, players can breed creatures for better stats, hunt rare color variants, trade, join clans and climb a competitive ladder. Temtem is a one-time purchase with an optional cosmetic shop and battle pass. The studio has since released spin-offs, including Temtem: Swarm.
