The Crims

A Swedish-made crime game where players rob, deal and fight in a city to earn respect over set-length rounds.

Overview

The Crims is a text-based crime game set in a fictional city. Players pick a character type and spend stamina on robberies, drug dealing, nightclub visits and fights with other players, with the aim of earning as much respect as possible.

The game is split into rounds lasting several weeks, after which characters reset and a new round begins. Gangs let players rob together and protect each other, and rankings track reputation and top killers. Short sessions spread through the day suit the way stamina recovers.

The game was created by two Swedish developers and dates to 2004. It is free to play in the browser, with sign-in through Google, Facebook or Discord. The homepage shows how many players are online and active over the past day, and stats pages list reputation and top killers.
