Overview

Drakensang Online is an isometric action RPG set in Dracania, a dark fantasy world overrun by creatures from a hostile underworld. It began in 2011 as a browser game built on Bigpoint's own Nebula engine and later moved to a downloadable client after browser plugin support ended. The game is also listed on Steam for Windows.

Players pick one of four classes: Dragonknight, Ranger, Spellweaver, or Steam Mechanicus. Sessions center on fast click-to-fight combat across regions of towns, wilderness, and dungeons, collecting gear and skill upgrades along the way. Each account can hold several characters per server.

The game can be played solo, but groups make harder content easier, and players can join guilds and talk through built-in chat. Competitive players can also take part in player-versus-player modes. Drakensang Online is free to play, with an in-game shop selling premium currency for convenience items and boosts.
