Nexus Clash

An action-point browser MMORPG where angels, demons and neutral factions fight across linked worlds that reset with each new Breath.

Overview

Nexus Clash is a persistent browser MMORPG and the fan-made successor to Nexus War. Characters are souls pulled into the Nexus, a patchwork of planes joined by portals, where gods of good, evil and neutral powers battle for control.

Every action, from moving and searching to attacking and casting, costs action points, which refill on a fifteen-minute tick. Characters start as mortals and branch into new classes at levels 10 and 20, with advancement ending at level 30. Those who back the good powers can become angels, those who back evil can become demons, and neutral paths lead to transcendence, each with its own moral rules.

Players band together in factions that hold strongholds, and fighting other players is central. The world runs in cycles called Breaths: when one ends, characters drop back to level one and a reshaped world opens, often with new rules and maps. A wiki, forums and a character planner support the community.
